Description

  • SimpliPhi AmpliPHI batteries are only compatible with Sol-Ark-12K or SMA Sunny Island inverters. SimpliPhi PHI batteries should be used if you have any inverter other than a Sol-Ark-12K or SMA Sunny Island.
  • If you have a Sol-Ark-12K inverter and your batteries will not be exposed to sub-freezing conditions, the SimpliPhi AmpliPHI batteries can be used.

If you want a lightweight, non-toxic, and maintenance-free energy storage solution, the SimpliPhi AmpliPHI 3.8™ Battery may be just what you’re looking for. They are modular, lightweight and scalable up to 75 batteries. They provide power security and seamless integration of renewable and traditional sources of energy in grid hybrid and off grid applications: net zero, peak shaving, emergency back-up, stand alone, portable and mobile.

The AmpliPHI battery features a Battery Management System (BMS) with closed loop communications pre-configured for Sol-Ark 12K and SMA Sunny Island inverters. The BMS reports state of charge (SOC) and other critical real-time data, optimizing the value of storage and functionality of the entire power system.

AmpliPHI batteries also include a built-in temperature sensor that automatically communicates a lower charge rate to the inverter when temperatures approach freezing. When temperatures are below freezing the temperature sensor stops sending a signal to the inverter to charge the batteries.

SimpliPhi 3.8-48 batteries are a drop-in replacement for lead acid batteries, and much safer. They utilize the safest Lithium Ion chemistry available, Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP). By eliminating cobalt, the risk of thermal runaway, fire and explosion are all but eliminated.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Simpliphi PHI batteries cannot be wired in series. PHI batteries are designed for parallel wiring only to increase the battery bank’s storage capacity.Wiring in series will result in damage to the PHI Battery’s protective circuitry and will Void the Warranty.
