The RB300-LT  battery can safely charge at temperatures down to -4 degrees Fahrenheit by drawing power from the charger itself without the need for any additional components. This 12 Volt 300 Amp deep cycle battery is made to charge faster and last longer compared to lead-acid batteries, with no maintenance required. The LiFePO4 batteries can complete 3500 charging cycles at 100% depth of discharge, meaning that the batteries can be discharged (or used completely) until there is no more available energy with no long-term effects on battery life. As a result, Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries can last up to 10 times longer than lead-acid batteries when used for the same application.

Series and Parallel Wiring

The RB300-LT can be wired up to 6 units in series to increase the voltage of the battery system. An example would be connecting two 12V RB300-LTs in a series to achieve 24Volts. An example would be connecting the terminals of two 12V RB300-LTs from negative to positive to achieve 24Volts.

The batteries can also be wired in parallel, (connecting 2 or more batteries positive to positive and negative to negative) to increase the amp hour capacity of the battery bank. You would connect the batteries in parallel until you reach your desired battery capacity. RELiON Battery Management System (BMS)

RELiON batteries have a built-in Battery Management System that will shut off the battery to protect the cells from unsafe operating conditions. The BMS manages and protects the cells from over or under-voltage, over-current, high temperature or external short-circuiting.
